The words Holy Ghost have been a big conversation
topic across our country for many years. Many people say that it is
from God and they are glad it abides with them, while many others
say it is not necessary for the people today.
In this writing, I trust you will be able to understand the
necessity of the Holy Ghost.
First, let me say the Holy Ghost is a servant of God, the Father,
the Almighty. The Holy Ghost was with God and Christ even at the
beginning of the world. When God saw it was needful for Christ to
come to the world, he sent the Holy Ghost to visit Mary and bring
about the miraculous birth of Jesus. The Holy Ghost went back to
heaven to be with God the Father. Jesus, in his ministry, was a
light to the people. Jesus had a spirit and everyone that followed
him, received his spirit that is as we call it - The Holy Spirit.
This makes a man pure and clean. When Jesus Christ was crucified and
went to heaven he prayed to the Father, God Almighty, that He would
send the Holy Ghost to the people on the earth. Since God and Jesus
Christ are in heaven, and Jesus is not going to be on this earth
anymore until after the resurrection - which is at the end of the
world, the Holy Ghost came to the earth to be with and in God’s
people.
When a person comes to Christ he receives the Holy Spirit, which
makes him a clean person. Therefore, the Holy Spirit will cause the
man to love God and praise Him. By doing so, the Holy Ghost will
come upon him and will come in him, if the man will give the Lord a
perfect praise.
The preacher brings the message, which is given by the Ho1y Ghost.
Immediately, the Holy Ghost takes the message to the heart of the
unsaved person. The Holy Ghost causes the person to believe in Jesus
Christ. After surrendering their heart to the Lord, the person
receives Christ’s spirit, which puts him under the protection of the
Holy Ghost each moment of his life.
The Holy Ghost is doing this work throughout the whole world,
getting a church ready for the coming of Jesus Christ, our Savior.
This lets us understand the Holy Ghost is a servant of God. Jesus
Christ and God, the Father, are now in Heaven, but the Holy Ghost is
in the earth working with and for the people who will believe in the
Lord.
At the climax of this world, the Holy Ghost will take the Church -
those who have received Christ - to meet Jesus in the air. Then
Jesus and the Holy Ghost will take the people to present them to
God, the Father.
The Holy Ghost will honor the person who honors Jesus Christ. It is
by the name of Jesus that men are saved. The Holy Ghost will push
and advertise that name throughout the world.
Jesus teaches us man can say all manner of evil against the Father
or the Son and obtain forgiveness. However, if he speaks one
word against the Holy Ghost, it will not be forgiven him in this
world nor in the world to come.
